Internal R&D / Pilot Design Case Study
Operational Readiness Workspace
A role-based workspace that helps professional teams understand what is ready, what is missing and what requires action, while structured rules and evidence remain in control of the truth.
Fictional data only
Human approval required
Overview
A role-based operational readiness workspace for specialist teams. It is an internal R&D and pilot design project, not a deployed clinical decision system.
Operational problem
Before a specialist appointment, evidence, follow-ups, documents and handoffs can be fragmented. The product focuses on whether work is ready — not diagnosis or treatment.
Role and workflow mapping
The work is organised as STATUS, GAP and ACTION. Clinicians and administrative staff receive different task-native views while sharing one structured truth layer.
System design
Evidence records, tracker states and readiness rules determine facts. Context is assembled from structured records, with audit trails and role-based projections around sensitive actions.
Where AI helps
Optional AI assists intent understanding, concise operational summaries and formatting. It rewrites verified context and can be disabled without removing the core rules path.
Where AI is prohibited
AI does not diagnose, recommend treatment, interpret pathology or imaging, override readiness rules, or create facts that are absent from the evidence layer.
Safeguards
Rule fallback, output validation, prohibited clinical-language checks and human review protect critical actions. Document approval and evidence review remain human responsibilities.
Current status
Confirmed engineering work includes pilot workflows, demo data, automated regression coverage and UAT materials. Real-user sign-off, production deployment, OCR, MFA and complete CI/CD remain unconfirmed or incomplete.
Applications beyond healthcare
The same readiness pattern can support legal case preparation, compliance reviews, field-service handoffs and other professional workflows built around evidence, gaps and accountable action.
Evidence calibration
The model can fail without taking the workflow with it.
